National Export DirectoryNational Export Directory
The National Export Directory (NED) was developed by the Trade Information Center (TIC) to better inform U.S. exporters about trade contacts at the federal, state, and local levels.The NED contains contact information for state trade offices, trade finance offices, trade centers, and foreign trade zones.


Export AmericaExport America Export America, the official magazine of the International Trade Administration (ITA) in the U.S. Department of Commerce, offers practical export advice and serves as a valuable resource for small and medium-sized exporters. Each month Export America features Ask the TIC, a technical article for U.S. exporters that provide in-depth, frequently-asked questions from U.S. exporters. Export America also draws on the resources of the ITA and other government agencies to feature regional developments, country- and industry-specific opportunities, trade events listings, technical advice, online marketing tips and export statistics.

Lists of government and private sector online trade lead resources.

Trade Statistics On-line
Federal agencies typically collect a variety of data on U.S. exports and potential markets. Private organizations, such as trade associations, publishing houses and market research firms also provide a number of statistical resources for foreign trade. This document describes some of the more comprehensive tools for locating international trade statistics.
