The Exhibit Hall at the Visitor Center

Twenty-six exhibit panels are designed to tell you an abridged story of the ARS research program. The ARS Scientific Hall of Fame displays plaques honoring some past scientists who achieved greatness in their fields. News of the latest discoveries in agricultural science and engineering is available in handouts.

Teachers

Encourage students to be on their best behavior. All students are representatives of their school. ARS information specialists will be speaking about information that they may miss if they are also talking. Sometimes teachers develop an activity for their students to complete while here, such as a writing assignment or a series of questions to answer.

Essentials

Rest rooms and drinking fountains are located inside the ARS National Visitor Center. There is also a pay telephone for the public.
