NAVAL AIR STATION-JOINT RESERVE BASE FORT WORTH, Texas – In a mid-day summer swelter, the smell of jet fuel permeates the air as a lone KC-130 Hercules taxis to a stop.  In a nearby hangar bay amidst cargo planes and replacement parts a crowd of families and friends bid farewell to their desert-clad loved ones mere minutes away from their journey to the Middle East.
