Technology Description:

This invention discloses an improved apparatus for making lightweight panels from wood fibers. These panels can be made of various thicknesses and sizes, and can be fabricated from recycled materials. The key features of this invention are both the even distribution of wood fibers during fabrication and the improved draining of the liquid fiber carrying fluid used in this process. The panels fabricated by this invention can utilize waste fibers and are strong, yet lightweight construction panels that can be used in numerous applications, such as walls, floors, furniture, stage sets, office dividers and more.
