Abstract:
The invention relates generally to vaccines for veterinary use. This subunit vaccine shows promise in the prevention and treatment of disease processes induced by Chlamydia. The principal subunit component, a 96 kd polypeptide, may be associated with other polypeptides in the range of 40-140 kd. These polypeptides are capable of forming neutralizing antibodies protective against C. trachomatis and C. psittaci.
