Monoclonal Antibodies to Hygromycin B and the Method of Making the Same 

Technology Description:

The invention involves production of hybridema cell lines that secrete monoclonal antibodies which selectively bind with hygromycin B. Hygromycin B is used to control certain parasitic worms in livestock. These monoclonal antibodies may be used for detection and quantitative determination of trace amounts of the anti-worm compound--anthelmintic--in animal tissue and feed material.
