The Dynamic Web Atlas addresses the investigation and prototype development of a dynamic Web-based implementation for the USGS Land Status and Trends report that is to be published in 2004. Investigations are being performed on the most efficient methodology for presenting the types of information that will be contained in the Land Status and Trends report. Included in these investigations are studies into what types of information can be most efficiently presented via the Web and what forms of data and information delivery would be most effective for the application.
