2003 YBS Data - Data on lending activities by the Farm Credit System (System) to Young, Beginning and Small Farmers and Ranchers (YBS) during 2003 are now available. Overall, the System increased its lending to YBS borrowers during 2003. Reports available outline individual FCS institutions' lending activity for YBS in each borrower category for the year, as well as the outstanding amounts at year-end. All data are derived from YBS reports submitted by each district Farm Credit Bank and Agricultural Credit Bank annually. Previous years YBS data also are available.
