GLOBE highly encourages students to utilize GLOBE data to help answer
questions about how the environment around them works. Through investigation
projects students do science, learning the importance of creating hypotheses,
analyzing data, drawing conclusions and reporting their results. GLOBE
Student Investigations are reports of scientific projects conducted by GLOBE
students that include the use of GLOBE data or protocols. By publishing your
investigation report on the GLOBE website you are sharing your valuable
findings with the rest of the world and completing the science process.
It is necessary for your report to follow a well-structured format in order to clearly convey the details of your research project to readers. Therefore
please follow the
Student Investigation Report Format
as closely as possible.
You may also wish to review the Steps to a Successful Student Research Paper
