This area of the NBII provides educators, parents, and students of all ages with access to online resources that emphasize the teaching of biology, biodiversity, and ecology. Included are activities, lesson plans, experiments, projects, resources, and references for classroom and home use.

 

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Explorer's Club
The Explorer's Club is the US EPA's website for kids ages 5-12. Explore our environment and learn about ways to protect it.

 

National Geographic Kids Page
The National Geographic Kids Page, updated monthly, includes all kinds of fun activities, including Amazing Facts, Creature Feature, Cartoon Factory, great articles about different kinds of animals, and a Pen Pal Network.

 

The National Wildlife Federation Kid's Page: Ranger Rick's Kids Zone

The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Kids' Page
