Technical Requirements
For complete system functionality, you must have Netscape 4.08 or higher, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher.
The following are required browser configurations in order for the system to function correctly on your PC or Macintosh. Note that wording may vary slightly between PC and Macintosh platforms.
- JavaScript must be enabled.
- Stylesheets must be enabled.
- Cookies must be accepted.
A PDF Viewer and unzip utility (such as WinZip for windows) are also suggested for displaying documents. The PDF viewer should be loaded as a plug-in to view individual pages in PDF format. If the Adobe Acrobat reader is used, we recommend version 3.01 or later.
The following are details on how to set your browser configurations.
Netscape Communicator 4.x:
- From the Edit menu, click on Preferences.
- Under Category, click on Advanced to view options.
- In menu, select:
- Enable JavaScript.
- Enable Stylesheets.
- Under Cookies, select:
- Accept all cookies or Accept only cookies sent back to the originating server.
- If your browser is set up to show an alert before accepting cookies, (you selected Warn me before accepting a cookie), be sure to click on OK every time.
Internet Explorer 4.x:
- From the Tools menu, click on Internet Options.
- Under Security, click on Internet icon, then the Custom Level button to view options.
- In list:
- Enable Cookies.
- If your browser is set up to prompt before accepting cookies, be sure to click on OK every time.
