REGIONS Traffic Safety Digest The Traffic Safety Digest is a quarterly publication of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Each edition of the Traffic Safety Digest focuses on up to 25 innovative traffic safety projects that have been or are currently being conducted in states and communities throughout the country. Topics include such categories as Alcohol and Other Drugs, Diversity, Occupant Protection, Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety, and Safe Communities. Additional topics are added as new issue areas arise. Each project is described in an easy-to-read format that includes: problem identification, goals and objectives, strategies and activities conducted, results, funding and the name of a program contact person for further information. The type and size of the population reached with the effort is also described. Issues from Fall 1996 to the present are available on the web. To view back issues, please Click Here. Editions are available from Fall 1993, upon request and availability. If you would like any previous editions, please fill out the form provided. If you have a project that you would like to submit, please send your name, address, phone number, a description of the project and any results. Please keep the description to no more than 100 words. For an example of the template/format of the Traffic Safety Digest, please click here. Please submit your project via e-mail to the Regional Office that handles the State for the project that you are submitting. REGIONS Traffic Safety Digest

The Traffic Safety Digest is a quarterly publication of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). Each edition of the Traffic Safety Digest focuses on up to 25 innovative traffic safety projects that have been or are currently being conducted in states and communities throughout the country.
