On January 23, 2004, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, Western Division, approved a final settlement agreement in the CSS legalization case. In general, the settlement agreement provides a final one-year application period for eligible individuals to file simultaneous applications for class membership and application for legalization on Form I-687. Any individual wishing to file an application pursuant to the settlement agreement must follow the filing instructions below:
LULAC (Newman)
On February 18, 2004, the United States District Court for the Central District of California approved a final settlement agreement in the LULAC (Newman) legalization case. In general, the settlement agreement provides a final one-year application period for eligible individuals to file simultaneous applications for class membership and application for legalization on Form I-687. the class action judgment in Proyecto San Pablo v INS, No. Civ 89-456-TUC-WBD (D. Ariz). Read
the INS News Release regarding the implementation of the judgment. On June 24, 2003 the BCIS notified the public by Federal Register Notice of the
court's replacement of the FOIA request form.
