Office of Crisis Management

FDA's Office of Crisis Management (OCM) coordinates emergency and crisis-response activities involving FDA-regulated products. These duties include:

• Developing and managing policies to help FDA respond quickly to emergency or crisis situations.
• Planning and directing all activities related to FDA's physical and personnel security programs.

OCM has two components: the Office of Emergency Operations and the Office of Security Operations.
