Chronological List of DHS Immigration-related Public Information

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is committed to providing accurate, timely information, including immigration-related information, so that the news media and the public are well informed about DHS immigration-related bureaus, missions, capabilities and activities.

This section of the DHS Public Affairs Website is a portal to immigration-related information published on our Website after the March 1, 2003 transition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) into the Department. Parts of the former INS have been incorporated into the Directorate of Border and Transportation Security (i.e., U.S. Customs and Border Protection and the U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement), the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Office of Shared Services, the Office of Immigration Statistics, and DHS immigration-offices overseas.

These public information portals provide easy access to a chronology of immigration-related information as well as a portal to this information arranged by topic. Documents and information published through February 28, 2003 was issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service.

So browse and download whatever you need from this section to stay up-to-date on DHS immigration-related programs and services.
