Under Secretary Grossman Travels to the Balkans



Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro
November 5, 2003

Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Marc Grossman visited Brussels on November 3-4, where he consulted with NATO allies and EU representatives on issues pertaining to the Balkans. On November 5, the Under Secretary was in Belgrade meeting with government officials on several topics of regional significance. Other stops in his travel include Pristina, Skopje, Tirana, and Sarajevo.

The Under Secretary's trip to the Balkans underscores the continuing commitment of the United States and our international partners to regional stability and to the integration of the Balkans into the Euro-Atlantic community.
