The International Satellite Land Surface Climatology Project

The Initiative II data sets are based on the need for comprehensive data sets over the 10-year period from 1986 to 1995. The data are at a spatial resolution of 1 degree for the meteorological data and at 0.5 and 0.25 degrees for topography, soils, and vegetation parameters.

Please use the data on this Web site with caution. Many of the data sets are "beta" products, as they are still undergoing their final review and will probably be updated in the future.
