10/15/2004 - U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFPN) -- Amanda Feight scored a pair of goals to lead the University of Utah to a dominant 4-0 win over the Air Force Academy in Mountain West Conference women’s soccer here Oct. 14. The Falcons are now 3-10-1 overall and 0-3-0 in the conference play.

The Utes (8-4-2, 2-0-1) took the lead 17 minutes into the match as Feight followed her own shot to score on an open net. Hailey Marsh was credited with an assist on the goal. Chelsea Card made it a 2-0 game scoring from 10 yards in the 38th minute with Julie Herdic assisting.

Things did not get any better for the Falcons in the second half, as Feight knocked in her second goal of the night, shooting past goalkeeper Jennifer Drew to the left side to make it a 3-0 game in the 73rd minute. Kim Lloyd assisted on the goal.

Carisse Winegar got the final score for the Utes in the 80th minute, as Herdic assisted for the second time in the match.

Utah out-shot Air Force 21-9 on the night, including 12 shots on goal to Air Force’s four. Raegan McDowell had three shots on the night to lead the Falcons.

Glennis Donnelly had four saves in the shutout win at keeper for the Utes. Drew had seven saves in 78 minutes for Air Force, with Katherine Schifani earning her first career save in 12 minutes of play in a reserve role.

The Falcons next play Brigham Young University here Oct. 16.
