Specifically, this site is intended to serve data collected as part of the Place-Based Studies of the Everglades and its associated ecosystems. Currently, the archive database interface to the South Florida Ecosystem History Project database is still in development, and certain functions are not yet available. As a consequence, some data are available only through the SOFIA Data exchange pages. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause.
The South Florida Ecosystem History Project results database is available for searching and data retrieval. For more South Florida information, we would recommend using any of the links in the left-hand border, or in the header of this page. Please contact us if you have any difficulties obtaining USGS data.
By the end of April/early May 2004, an interactive online map will be made available, showing the study areas of the Everglades project. Eventually, this map will also be a gateway to the data resources archived for the various projects. A sample online map, for the SICS/ TIME project is available.
