military personnel, relocating spouses and DoD civilians.
- If you want to work for the Government, One-Stop
Jobs is the first place to look. This listing of the top DoD job
sites includes a section on Spouse Preference,
and helpful links to other federal and commercial sites featuring
appropriated fund and non-appropriated fund positions.
- Want to know what's available in terms of the job market, employment
and
training, transportation or anything else related to finding a job
in your
current area or next PCS assignment? The
Military Spouse Resource Center will help you find everything
from the
nearest Department of Labor One Stop Employment Center to a list
of the
top-paying jobs in your state.
- If you’d prefer to work for yourself, the Small Business Administration
wants to help. The SBA offers free
online classes on starting small businesses.
The Military Spouse Entrepreneurial Information Page of the Women’s
Business Center presents nearly everything you need to know. And coming
soon will be a Web site devoted to establishing a small business in
Europe.
