  • DoD Job Search uses the resources of America’s Job Bank to provide a resume generator, job postings and resume searches by commercial employers seeking separating military personnel, relocating spouses and DoD civilians.

  • If you want to work for the Government, One-Stop Jobs is the first place to look. This listing of the top DoD job sites includes a section on Spouse Preference, and helpful links to other federal and commercial sites featuring appropriated fund and non-appropriated fund positions.

  • Want to know what's available in terms of the job market, employment and training, transportation or anything else related to finding a job in your current area or next PCS assignment? The Military Spouse Resource Center will help you find everything from the nearest Department of Labor One Stop Employment Center to a list of the top-paying jobs in your state.

  • If you’d prefer to work for yourself, the Small Business Administration wants to help. The SBA offers free online classes on starting small businesses. The Military Spouse Entrepreneurial Information Page of the Women’s Business Center presents nearly everything you need to know. And coming soon will be a Web site devoted to establishing a small business in Europe.

  • Still need more information? DoD Transportal assists Service Members leaving active duty (and spouses too) make the change to civilian life by providing valuable information on benefits, transition services, on-line courses, successful job searches, and more.

  • Finally, you’ll want to check out our Links lists to commercial job boards and other interesting job sites -- and maybe suggest a few of your own.
