Remember! Many discontinued post offices are not listed. We cannot respond to requests. See Local Postal History for information on how you can research post offices.

Action: Enter dates in the form of mm/dd/yyyy in both the "From Date" and "To Date" boxes. "mm" is a month ranging from 01 for January to 12 for December. "dd" is a day ranging from 01 to 31. "yyyy" is a year from 1639 through the present. Click Search to process. Click Clear to reset.

Result: A chronological list of post offices entered for the range of discontinuance dates you specified. The list will include the county, ZIP Code for offices in existence after 1963, and, if research on the office is complete, its establishment date.
