The Fair Labor Standards
Act (FLSA) does not address long-term or short-term disability insurance.
These benefits are generally a matter of agreement between an employer and an
employee (or the employee's representative).

provides one-stop access to government disability information and resources, as
well as updates on President Bush's
New
Freedom Initiative.
