Hydrographic Systems and Technology Programs (HSTP) develops and implements hydrographic survey equipment and software for the Office of Coast Survey. The primary mission of HSTP is to bridge the gap between research and operational usage of this complex and expensive technology. At the same time, HSTP maintains the world-leading expertise of NOS in nautical charting science. Transferring the technologies proven aboard Government vessels provides long-term efficiencies throughout the hydrographic industry.
