The Office of Medical Services is currently hiring psychiatrists to provide clinical screenings, conduct evaluations, provide consultation and emergency services, and participate in counseling activities.
Minimum requirements include a medical degree, with a residency in psychiatry,
as well as current licensure, board certification or board certification
eligibility. Expertise in diagnosis, psycho-pharmacology, intra-
and interpersonal dynamics, organizational dynamics and crisis
intervention is also required. Experience as a practicing psychiatrist,
including child and family work, is desirable. Successful candidates
should be prepared for eventual overseas assignment.
All applicants must successfully complete a thorough medical and psychological exam, a polygraph interview and an extensive background investigation. US citizenship is required.
