An interactive site from the National Geophysical Data Center, allows the
searcher to find tsunami events fitting any number of qualifications. The
database is one of two concerned with tsunami at the site that covers tsunamis
that have occurred anywhere on Earth. The user's guide provides background
into understanding the dynamics of tsunamis as they have been recorded or
observed and classified. Available in CD-Rom as part of the more inclusive
seismological database NGDC has produced.

This database created by Viacheslav Gusiakov at the Tsunami Laboratory at
the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics (Computing
Center) at the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences in Novosibirsk,
brings together data on tsunamis that have occurred in the Pacific Basin.
Searches can be performed along any number of parameters. |
