Volunteering
The
Bighorn National Forest welcomes efforts from individuals and groups that
wish to assist in the management of their national forest lands. Caring
for the Bighorn National Forest and serving the needs of the people who
use it is a big job. We could not accomplish this mission without the
help of people like you. No matter what your training, experiences, or
interest, there is likely a volunteer position where you can get involved
and feel good about your accomplishments. We can also arrange special
programs such as internships, service projects, or work days for your
group.
CoordinationVolunteering can offer valuable experience and lifelong memories. Give it a try! Read a testimony of one volunteer's experience. Contact the forest volunteer coordinator for information and a volunteer application.

What Projects?Projects can range from a single-day project to a long-term undertaking lasting for several months. What captures your interest—trail work, campground host, bird surveys, information receptionist, wilderness restoration, conservation education? |
