Opportunity Conference, Washington, DC.
Once again, under the leadership of Secretary Elaine L. Chao, the U.S. Department of Labor in partnership with the U.S. Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host an Opportunity Conference, building partnerships with the nation's two largest immigrant communities, Asian and Hispanic Americans. Celebrating the contributions of these two communities, the Opportunity Conference will emphasize key components of economic development, including access to capital and job training, and also feature workshops on understanding federal procurement opportunities and addressing the needs of workers with limited English proficiency.
