JFMIP Core Competencies

Created jointly by the Human Resources Committee of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Council and Joint Financial Management Improvement Program (JFMIP), core competencies are those knowledges, skills and abilities applicable to specific governmental financial management related career occupations.

Our courses are designed to meet the activity requirements defined in the core competency documents.

Financial management related core competencies have been developed for the following career categories:
