Brant Broome asks:
How long would it take for a man-made spacecraft to travel to the newly found planet orbiting a distant star?

Also is there any chance in the future of speeding up the spacecrafts?

It would be nice to see the planet now and not have to wait 60 years.

Dr. Marc Rayman answers.
Chief Engineer, Dawn Project
Former Project Manager,
Deep Space 1
