Welcome

The Albuquerque Seismological Laboratory is part of the U.S. Geological Survey, Central Region Geologic Hazards Team, under the Department of the Interior.    We install and maintain a global network of seismograph stations, collecting and distributing the data produced by these stations. In addition, we develop, test, and evaluate a variety of seismic instrumentation. The current Lab Chief is Dr. Charles R. Hutt.

Notice to all potential users of WWSSN historical data (July 3, 2003)
