Rio Puerco and Cabezon Village as seen from Cabezon Peak looking N 20 W, 1905.
Retake of Schrader 1258; 6/19/98. Rio Puerco has widened dramatically and become
much more sinuous in the last 93 years. Juniper trees have been established
along the base of the scarps behind the village - probably due to the cessation
of fuelwood collection here.
