Sierra Nacimiento and Puerco valley as seen from Cabezon Peak looking N 20 E,
1905.
Retake of Schrader 1259; 6/19/98. Rio Puerco is visible at left in both views
and appears to have widened since 1905. There has apparently been a striking
increase in the amount of Juniper on the low mesas in the fore and middle
ground, but part of this apparent difference seems to be attributable to the
type of camera and the angle of the sun in Schrader's view (see retake of
Schrader 1260).
