| History & ActivitiesThe Oak Ridge Reservation Health Effects Subcommittee was created to provide a forum for communication and collaboration between citizens and the agencies that are evaluating public health issues and conducting public health activities at the Oak Ridge Reservation. The Subcommittee was formed in 1999 under the guidelines and rules of the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Members of the Subcommittee represent diverse interests, backgrounds, and communities. To help ensure citizen participation, meetings of the Subcommittee's work groups are open to the public and anyone may attend and present ideas and opinions.
