Additional Information on Eligibility:
Eligible applicants are schools of nursing, academic health centers, and other public or private non-profit and for-profit entities capable of carrying out the legislative purpose which provide registered nurses with full-time nurse anesthetist education and have evidence of earned pre-accreditation or accreditation status from the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.

Description

Grants are awarded to eligible institutions for projects that support traineeships for licensed registered nurses enrolled as full-time students beyond the twelfth month of study in a Master's nurse anesthesia program.  The traineeship program is a formula program and all eligible entities will receive awards.
