Description

USAID/Indonesia's Improved Quality of Decentralized Basic Education (IQDBE) Program Objective 3, “Increased Relevance of Junior Secondary and Non-Formal Education to Work and Life Skills”, serves to address the Mission’s goal of supporting activities that provide junior-high aged youth in Indonesia with education that is relevant to work and life.  The primary objectives of the USAID-funded assistance are to:
• Improve the basic education received by students in junior high school so that it directly relates to the skills needed upon entering the workforce, and
• Assist youth who have dropped out of school before receiving their junior high school certificate to build the skills needed to better participate in the community and workforce
