Give FDA Your Comments About Its Proposal
For New Physician Labeling for Prescription Drugs

Have you ever thought that prescription drug prescribing information could be designed to make the information you need easier to find, read, and use? FDA recently published a proposal designed to make the labeling of new and recently approved drug products more useful for you. The proposal would require an introductory section with highlights of the information physicians find most important. It would also reorganize detailed prescription information to make the most important information more prominent and easier to find. The public was invited to comment on the proposal until June 22, 2001, and FDA is currently evaluating the public comments that have been received regarding this proposal.
