Zlatko Lagumdzija is the president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the largest multiethnic party in Bosnia. The April 8th municipal elections positioned the SDP to overtake mainline nationalist parties in the upcoming national elections.

Deep international involvement continues in Bosnia. In an effort to identify how Bosnia may become an independent, functioning democracy, Lagumdzija considered the following:

What has been accomplished in the five years since the Dayton Peace Accords?
Why does Bosnia remain so divided, and what should be done about it?
How can the next five years be made more productive than the previous five?

The presentation was followed by questions from the audience and the Internet.
