The Ministry of Defence web site has information on events, speeches,
publications, documents detailing defense strategy. Also includes

Home page of the organization has news updates on the current NATO role in Macedonia and links to an overview of current operations. Balkans The Latest
ReliefWeb, a project
of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian
Affairs (OCHA), has a database of the latest news and reports on
the humanitarian crisis in Macedonia and the Balkans. The database
can be searched by month going back to December 1997, by source
(organization name), by format or type of report, or by the latest
news first. Keyword search capability is available, as are links
to related reports. The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: The Latest country information has additional material and links. Within country listing, related links include background information and topics such as refugees
and IDPs with a link to IDPs
in Macedonia from the Global
IDP Project on internally displaced persons. ReliefWeb also
includes a map
center, site map and search capability.

The web site for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees
(UNHCR) has databases for country of origin and legal information
documents and reports. Pull-down menus allow selection by country
and/or subject and a specific search engine feature is also provided.
Each country compilation includes links to country reports, legal

World Bank
- Economic Reconstruction and Development in South East Europe
A joint web site of the European Commission and the World Bank created "as part of the international community's reponse to the Kosovo crisis," it contains a calendar of events/conferences, news releases, speeches and statements, documents issued by the EU, UN, IMF and IMF/WB, including the Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe dated June 10, 1999, links to related sites, with other sections of the web site under construction. The announcement of the launching of the joint web site describes the scope and types of information that will be covered, including assessment of the economic impacts and costs of the Kosovo crisis, reconstruction needs, and register of donor assistance.

Maps from the Perry-Castaneda Library Map Collection of the University of Texas at Austin. These maps were produced by the U.S. Central
Intelligence Agency. The PCL map collection includes related, regional

Reporting
"An independent publishing and media group" based in London, the
web site of the IPWR contains several special reports on the conflict in the region, such as the Balkan Crisis Reports and Tribunal
Update, which reports on the International War Crimes Tribunal
for the Former Yugoslavia. Balkans Crisis Report no. 228, March
21 2001, covers the situation in Macedonia on issues of NLA autonomy,
western support for Macedonia, ending the violence, Albanian perspectives,
etc.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has supported, with donations of computer equipment, the development of this web site
which is the product of FORUM Centre for Strategic Research and
Documentation, a Macedonian non-governmental organization. The web
site contains news reports on Macedonia from a variety of sources,
