The TVA Board of Directors met on Wednesday, September 22, and approved TVA's 2005 budget. The TVA Board, by a 2 to 1 vote, approved a budget for 2005 that holds electric rates stable, continues the trend of reducing financing obligations and provides capital for clean-air improvements, new power generation, and transmission-system upgrades.
