US SECRET SERVICE PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BOYS AND GIRLS CLUB OF AMERICA

At the annual Congressional breakfast on September 20, 2000, the U.S. Secret Service signed a partnership agreement with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America to recognize these clubs and the work they do.  The Boys and Girls Clubs of America is a non-profit youth organization with almost 2,400 clubs that help 3.3 million young people in our country.  New clubs are being formed every day, and the number of youth who belong is expected to reach 5 million by 2006.

By entering into this partnership, the U.S. Secret Services has pledged it's support in assisting with programs that discourage violence and drug abuse, while encouraging good citizenship and educational accomplishments.
