The Defense Finance and Accounting Service - San Diego
Site was activated March 5, 1995 as part of the consolidation
of service finance and accounting operations.
Commanded by Captain Julie E. Webb, the San Diego Site is located in San Diego,
CA.
The San Diego Site serves more than 700 activities to
include:
- Commander in Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet
- Naval Air Systems Command
- Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery
- Naval Facilities Command
- Naval Supply Systems Command
- Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command
- Navy Bureau of Personnel
- Special Warfare Command
For these customers, the Site processes monthly:
- $358 million disbursements
- 50,000 commercial invoices
- 1,500 travel claims
- 2,000 accounting reports
