DFAS Limestone
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service - Limestone Field Organization
was activated January 1995, as part of the consolidation of service
finance and accounting operations.
Directed by Lawrence W. Conrad, the Limestone Field
Organization is located in the heart of New England's largest county, Aroostook
County, Maine. Through state-of-the-art technology and highly trained and motivated
employees, DFAS Limestone provides premier base-level finance and accounting
services to its customers. These services include: appropriated funds accounting
and reporting; vendor pay; working capital funds accounting and reporting; travel
accounting; accounts receivable; and disbursing.
The Limestone Field Organization serves all 18 Air Force bases and 20 associated
Air National Guard units of the Air Force's Air Combat Command, stretching across
22 states, two foreign countries, and southwest Asia. Put another way, we serve
customers in a geographical area spanning 11 time zones.
