DFAS Europe
The Defense Finance and Accounting Service - Europe, located at Kaiserslautern, Germany, was activated August 11, 1999 as part of the consolidation of DoD finance and accounting operations. DFAS Europe, consolidated from finance and accounting offices at Kleber Kaserne, Ramstein Air Base, Vogelweh and Landstuhl, Germany, reports to the Indianapolis Center.
The DFAS Europe mission provides a full range of accounting, vendor payments and disbursing functions for U.S. Army, Europe;
U.S. Air Forces, Europe; Defense Commissary Agency; U.S. Army Medical Command and other Department of Defense activities in Europe.
