National Maritime Resource and Education Center
(NMREC) 

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) established the National Maritime Resource and Education Center (NMREC) in April 1994 to assist the U.S. shipbuilding, ship repair, owner/operators and marine suppliers in improving their international competitiveness.
