The reverse design, by sculptor Miley Busiek, features an eagle carrying an olive branch flying above a nest containing another eagle and her eaglets. The 2004 American Eagle Gold Proof Four-Coin Set includes one coin of each weight: one ounce; ½ ounce; ¼ ounce;and 1/10 ounce.

This year’s four-coin set contains a newly-designed Certificate of Authenticity signed by the Director of the United States Mint.
