Ireland - Northern Ireland - National Cancer Institute Consortium
Established in 1999, the Consortium is a partnership between the governments
of Northern Ireland, Ireland, and the United States to enhance cancer research
and quality of care on the island of Ireland. The goal of the Consortium is to
reduce the incidence of cancer in both parts of Ireland, which have among the highest
rates of cancer in the Western world. For more information visit
