Atmospheric Chemistry Description The measurement and modeling of concentration and distribution of gases and aerosols in the lower and middle atmosphere; chemical reactions among atmospheric species; sources and sinks of important trace gases and aerosols; aqueous phase atmospheric chemistry; transport of gases and aerosols throughout the atmosphere; and improved methods for measuring the concentrations of trace species and their fluxes into and out of the atmosphere. Target Dates and Deadlines Proposals may be submitted at any time during the year for all programs except those involving the allocation of observational and computing facilities.
