Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Training

As a federal agency required under 29 CFR, Part 1614, Sections 102 and 105 to establish or make available to its employees an alternative dispute resolution program, we are also charged with educating employees on its use.  Training is required to educate all CMS employees on alternative dispute resolution (ADR), inform CMS employees of how the Office of Equal Opportunity and Civil Rights (OEOCR) is using ADR, and advise employees of how mediation fits into the EEO complaints process.  This required training is in concert with the ADR program for EEO Complaints, which stipulates that all employees (management and non-management) will receive training on the program and the importance of ADR in resolving EEO complaints.
