What's New in the Listing of Impaired Waters Under the Clean Water Act (303d listing)
  • EPA approved Alaska's Category 5/Section 303(d) list of impaired waters contained in 2002/2003 Integrated Water Quality Monitoring and Assessment Report on February 13, 2004. This document includes a schedule for Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) which lists the approximate dates that TMDLs will be completed on impaired or polluted waters and language defining 'residues' and its interpretation.
