In its continuing effort to provide the industry a timely and efficient level of service, the National Servicing Center (NSC) has restructured staff duty assignments in order to accommodate the increasing volume of loss mitigation extension/variance requests processed by the NSC. This change does not affect the processing of extensions or variances by other HUD divisions, i.e., REO, M&M; contactors, etc.

HUD/FHA Loan Servicers can now fax loss mitigation extension/variance requests to (918) 581-7722.

If you have any questions or comments about extensions and variances, please call 1-888-297-8685, and ask to speak with a member of the Extension/Variance team.
